To reach cemetery go 12 miles southwest from Oneonta, AL on Highway 75, turn southeast on County Road 24 and go about 3 miles. This cemetery was started by Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church, which was organized in 1884. The first burial was for the Dillashaw baby who only had a rock for a marker. The oldest marker in the cemetery is for J. Horsley dated 1891. In the early days the residents were required to do the grave digging. In 1962, a new section between the church and parsonage was opened.
